HOUSTON TEXANS BOOK
For almost a year, I worked alongside the Houston Texans to create the brand's first-ever children's book featuring their mascot, TORO. Andrew Johnson, a dear friend of mine in the industry, wrote the book himself and brought me onboard.
For almost a year, I worked alongside the Houston Texans to create the brand's first-ever children's book featuring their mascot, TORO. Andrew Johnson, a dear friend of mine in the industry, wrote the book himself and brought me onboard.
The final art features iconic imagery from the Texans' gameday experience, rendered in a nostalgic painting style inspired by Little Golden Books, while displaying the team's updated branding and jersey designs in 2024. The project also led to an illustrated rebrand of the character with 9 new poses for merchandise and other uses!
