In 2021, I was given one of the most amazing tasks I've ever worked on:
Create a mascot for the Cheez-It brand and their college bowl games in collaboration with Weber Shandwick and Chicago Mascot Company, my partner and manufacturer for almost all of my mascot designs.
The proposed concept was a prince from the fictional land of Cheez-A-Lot. After tons of research on historical and fantasy costumes, many revisions, and plenty of cheese-related puns and design elements, Prince Cheddward made his debut at the 2021 Cheez-It Bowl and was an instant hit.
Notable platforms that featured him for the 2021 and 2022 bowl game included Sports Illustrated, AdWeek, Barstool Sports, SB Nation, and Twitter's trending list during the game.
