SPIRIT SPLASH DESIGN
Spirit Splash is UCF's most notable event in which students rush into the Reflecting Pond for a pep rally and try to catch one of the event's famous rubber ducks. With the 2020 event being canceled due to COVID-19, Spirit Splash was moved to February 2021 for the first time ever with socially-distant guidelines.

I was chosen to design the event's branding, overall aesthetic, and its famous shirt giveaway item.
Being chosen to work on this project carried a lot of sentimental value to me as I discovered UCF's Office of Student Involvement and my future design position through someone's Spirit Splash shirt artwork on their portfolio.
6 years later, I was finally able to work on the project that shaped my college career right before my graduation.

Aligning with UCF Homecoming's 2020-2021 theme, the poster was made to fit within its Spotify-inspired duotone aesthetic. Photographs and color schemes were assigned to each poster and designer, leading to my final design. Assets from the shirt were utilized to keep the design elements consistent.
